In my opinion that Ukrainian girl Maria needs to be tested again 12 hours later to see if she's positive again or negative which would indicate a false positive.

Before the 2020 NFL season began they had over 80 false positive coronavirus tests for their players. That's a lot. All I'm asking for is a follow-up coronavirus test 12 hours after the first one to make sure. Why ruin someone's dream overall false positive?

I don't know what will happen at Europeans I'm assuming Maria is out. But if she's really positive for covid what does mean for the other girls who were in the locker room with her?

Also does this mean Ukraine will not have a spot at Europeans next year because of this coronavirus withdrawal? Man they had such a great figure skating country just 25 years ago. Now look at it.

Of course she will be tested again. Her quarantine depends on the results. In the worst case she will be locked for 2 weeks.

Do we know if this Ukrainian girl was vaccinated? Athletes and super young people like her are getting hammered with omicron. Even if the symptoms are not nearly as severe as Delta or is the or the virus before that it's still devastating and has done irreparable damage to this girl's career.
