2022 JGP Czech Skate: Info & Pregame Chat

2022 JGP Czech Skate is the second of seven events of the 2022-23 Junior Grand Prix series and will take place Aug 31 – Sep 3, 2022, in Ostrava, Czech Republic, at the Ostravar arena. The ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series consists of seven international junior invitational events during the fall culminating with the 2022-23 ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final in December 2022.

This event will feature competitors in the Singles (Women and Men), Pairs and Ice Dance categories.

All seven events will be held with the approval and the assistance of the International Skating Union, under the responsibility of the organizing ISU Member concerned and in accordance with the 2022 ISU Constitution and General Regulations, 2022 Special Regulations & Technical Rules Single & Pair Skating and Ice Dance, relevant ISU Communications, and the latest memorandum for hosting an ISU Junior Grand Prix event.

Ice Dance, Men and Women all have a good number of entries, and also quite a lot from small feds, nice to see.

Watching US Nationals last season converted me to be a fan of junior pairs. Smith/Deng are semi-local to me, so I've heard about them through the news. Baram/Tioumentsev won my heart with their performances. I think they balance each other well as far as performance energy. Excited to see them all compete at this JGP!
