There's something about them that I really like. Only double jumps and an unfortunate fall on the second throw, but very emotionally present in the program, and nice connection between them. They have another year in Juniors (Her birthday is after the first of July), so there's still some time.

Shame about the spin at the end and the side-by-side Salchow. Throws were a bit of a struggle today too. But they have good potential - And actually match up age-wise for transitioning to Seniors.

Hah I'm so impressed by Cayla and Andy ! They have very soft and elegant skating. Salchow was soo scary but next combination was good

Sadly Sophia and Daniel have the same issue that the Japanese team has. They are already good and very promising but there's no way they be sticking together competing only nationally for the next 3 seasons.

They are basically the polar opposite of Murakami/Moriguchi. Super solid pairs elements, weak-ish jumps. They have the same age-eligibility problem though.
And honestly, I'm a bit confused about why these two pairs were paired together. Even under the old age-eligibility rules, they'd have a season in which they wouldn't be eligible for international competition.
