I know Ilia is on the list, but are there any news/insta feeds confirming that he will be 100% there?

Just a concerned fan asking.

I don't know about Ilia, but I read elsewhere that Lucas Broussard is no longer on the USFS list of entries

😭

I can't figure out where on the USFS website the entries are; Lucas is still on the Jr Worlds' website.

Malinin is going. He confirmed this at Worlds. His words were something along the lines of “… no matter the results here, I am going to Junior Worlds.”

Mens short, 3am Thursday Spokane time. So if they do on demand, I should be able to find this that evening on the correct Youtube ISU channel.

Kao says he's in very poor condition and just wants to finish his programs... 😭
Miura withdrew from Worlds because he has an injury that would take a few months to heal. So I'm not surprised. Unfortunately, Sato already withdrew from JW and I believe there's no one else that is age-eligible that has the tech minimums that could compete. (Someone correct me if this is not true. Do I need to mention that Kagiyama doesn't count?). Miura's taking one for the team, but I'm hoping he'll withdraw after the SP, if not sooner.

I think Shunsuke Nakamura and Nozomu Yoshioka both have their minimums and could’ve been options.

Shunsuke and Nozomu could both go. Honestly, I would have sent Yuma, he's age eligible, has his mins, and could just YOLO the end of the season with a JWorlds title. Hopefully Kao are OK and healing well, I hate seeing juniors injured.

yuma would need to adapt both his programs (no quads in SP, no choreo and shorter by 30 seconds FP) which seems counterproductive at this point in the season and he probably would miss out show money opportunities... nothing to gain points wise also as he earned already more than he could earn here.

Kao already has 4cc points so it's too bad they didn't think this through so another man gets a chance to advance in the worlds standings.

I'm late answering your question, but Ilia has Instastories up with what I believe to be a practice clip from Junior Worlds, as well as "retweets" of various well-wishers rooting for his success.

He's there, and he's competing.

Good luck boys! I don't have much time today between my daily job and volunteering duties, so I look first the results, just pick up some I want to see and watch my favorites, local boy and the best ones. This will be archived? The ISU screen is available in Finland also.

PS. Because I will be not online when Makar Suntsev skates, I tell you the his name's background. He is born in Russia, but moved to Finland at the age of four with his family, so he has grown in Finland, and started skating when living in Finland. His coach is his mother, who is a professional FS coach.
