Hi all.
Because the IOC has yet to decide the results of the team event, these results are provisional (with no official medals awarded) until that happens. But here is the current list of the OVERALL, PAIRS, WOMEN'S, DANCE, MEN'S and the many TEAM medalists for Olympics; I'll be adding the other events as soon as they are completed.
Please check this & let me know if I missed you.

hi hi :) not like it matters much but if I put up ROC USA JAPAN CANADA and ITALY, it should score 65

15points X 5= 60 + 5 = 65. Italy finished 7th, two places away= 5 points? I have the feeling that there is a mistake in the scoring for probably a lot of people.

True. I had ROC, USA, Japan, CAN, Georgia, Italy, so if I understand the scoring correctly that would be 75.

TO have 75 you would need ROC USA JAPAN CAN CHINA
Oh ok, I thought it was 15pts every correct placement, 10pts one placement off and 5pts for two placements off.
Which would be 60pts for the first four correct placements, 10 pts for Georgia which was one placement off, and 10pts for Italy which was one placement off. But I am new to this and may not understand the scoring.

Damn. I forgot I put Vincent in 3rd on a whim. Felt like he would do it just to spite everyone.

Feel bad now.

So only the top five teams were scored. There was no "6th, 7th, or 8th" place because only five teams made it to the Final.

I understand. That wasn't clear to me at all...especially since the rankings from teams 6-10 are available just like your snapshot shows.. at least, the unofficial rankings. (and thank you for the answer)

They did not reach the final. They did not advance to the FS. They did not "place."

Honestly, i do not mind how the game is scored as long as it is clear, and it is now.

However, not making the finals still doesn't mean not ranking or not placing. You can look at all the other events. Skaters who do not reach the final are still ranked by the points accumulated in the SP... that's their placement and it does matter to athletes and to fans. As I said, the prediction game can have its own rules and that's fine, but I don't believe one bit that the ranked number 6 team didn't place. Agree to disagree here.
