I think her first attempt was in Russian Cup, just two footed?Hmmm, but Adelia didn't have a quad before Nationals, she's on a bit different level now..

Probably.I am for it, Russian cup finals can serve for that, but it's too close to junior worlds. I think they will send three Sofias at the end.
From the 23rd to 27th of February, finishing 8 days before the start of the Junior World Championships. When is the Russian cup final? February?
Thanks. From the 23rd to 27th of February, finishing 8 days before the start of the Junior World Championships.
She had a quad toe in the jpg but lost to MuravievaHmmm, but Adelia didn't have a quad before Nationals, she's on a bit different level now..
Adeliya had a 4T in the junior Grand Prix circuit and even landed it. She landed 4Lo at Russian Cup event prior to Nationals. By the way, Sofia M. beat her at Junior event due to PCS, despite no ultra-c element. Also, she beat her at Russian Cup event despite falling on her 4S, due to Adeliya skating a bad short program. Adeliya is experimenting with different quads and the 4Lo was successful, until this event.Hmmm, but Adelia didn't have a quad before Nationals, she's on a bit different level now..
No. Please no skate off. The top three are the best when you incorporate their head to head records. They skated off at Junior Grand Prix circuit, Russian Cup series, Senior Nationals and Junior Nationals. How many more competitions and skate offs are necessary? Leave 3S, as isI am for it, Russian cup finals can serve for that, but it's too close to junior worlds. I think they will send three Sofias at the end.
Three Sofias to Sofia, yes! We have to have this. Three different schools, three 3A and quad capable skaters. It’s great on every level. In no way this means that Adelia Petrosyan is not a wonderful skater. Just the other three have a bit better balanced set of jumps and components for a little longer.No. Please no skate off. 100% agree with your comment. Those three are the ones with 3A, each camp is represented.Three Sofias to Sofia, yes! We have to have this. Three different schools, three 3A and quad capable skaters. Well they're making the poor boys do it, so why not? What's good for the goose and all that.I am for it, Russian cup finals can serve for that, but it's too close to junior worlds.
Sorry but you are wrong, Adeliia defintely should not be scoring the same in PCS as anyone from Plushenko. Eteri's junior girls simply don't have the presentation and elegance of those from Angels of Plushenko.I do feel the fed is reluctant and blurry about Adeliia which puts a pressure on her and that was why she was insecure today. As I said, the scores for the free of Adeliia and Sofia M. should be about the same and Adeliia should have been in much bigger lead from the SP relatively to M., but the fed obviously decided differently. Plushy's main concern should be to put his whole school together, not receiving undeserved bonuses by the fed.
Aren't most of these skaters returning to the JGP next year? So they still have time. It's not the end of the world.Three Sofias to Sofia, yes! We have to have this. Precisely. So, the skate-offs among both girls and boys serves no point, because literally, 3 Sofias is a great comp, and Lutfullin, Yablokov and Kovalev is a great comp. and the purpose of the Cup of Russia is to give the other skaters the stage and ability to make their bid for the next year… pressing it from the top with the skaters who already numerous times proved themselves strong performers is nuts.Aren't most of these skaters returning to the JGP next year? Alas not so much anymore. Ever since it was used to send Zhenya Med to Worlds over Liza T in 2019. That opened a can of worms. Now whenever someone either the fans don't like or the Fed don't like podiums at Nats or has a better season than a favourite the call can be made "Have a skate-off at Russian Cup Final!"the purpose of the Cup of Russia is to give the other skaters the stage and ability to make their bid for the next year…
No. Sofia M., Sofia S. and Adeliya all are eligible for SGP next year. So, it matters. These three lost their first season of JGP due to pandemic.Aren't most of these skaters returning to the JGP next year? So they still have time. It's not the end of the world.
Unfortunate.No. Sofia M., Sofia S. and Adeliya all are eligible for SGP next year. So, it matters. These three lost their first season of JGP due to pandemic.

I wouldn't talk about it but it was Plushenko himself who demanded a shootout between Anna and Liza and very loudly, so he should taste his own medicine.Well they're making the poor boys do it, so why not? What's good for the goose and all that.
And everyone thought it was a damn stupid idea, which it was.I wouldn't talk about it but it was Plushenko himself who demanded a shootout between Anna and Liza and very loudly, so he should taste his own medicine.
Everyone? There were quite numerous supporters of that, just loon into post nationals "thoughts" thread, not to mention the insane level of hate aimed at Anna, in fact so high that even Daniel Grassl defended her (and it's not like this forum was free of it).And everyone thought it was a damn stupid idea, which it was.
But now, all of sudden, a "Skate off" is just what we need to decide who should go to Junior Worlds.
Hmmm, can't imagine why the change of opinion. Truly mysterious...
