Just a note for those of you who are canceling flights. If you cancel your plane ticket you’re probably only entitled to a credit for future travel. If the airline cancels your flight you’re entitled to a refund. There’s been a lot of cancellations over the last week so if I was going to cancel the ticket I would wait until about the day before to see if there’s a chance I can get a refund. If you’ve already canceled and your flight is subsequently canceled it won’t , matter you made the decision before the airline did so you just get the credit. that’s why you want to wait
Most of the recent flight cancellations have been weather-related, haven't they? I agree it makes sense to wait until the last minute, but I think the airlines are unlikely to cancel unless there is a big storm or some other reason why they have no choice.

I only have tickets to Men’s Free on Sunday. Now I’m contemplating tix to short. Where is best place to sit? Tix in lower level behind judges are sold out. My tix for free are opposite side.

Has anyone had luck getting a refund for single session via TicketMaster?
Their email (all 6 of them that so received) stated deadline for requesting a refund was Jan 5 at 5:59 a.m. (which I did - for other health reasons that acted up again around midnight). But saying event is not accepting refunds.
I asked both them and USFS about the different deadline when I got the original email on Dec 28 — did not get a reply from either or updated email from TM.

Not complaining- just curious if anyone has been successful (also as a customer service issue - if you state a date, you should honor it).

I have gotten no response or refund from my request for the Championship weekend ticket.

Officially not going. So sad. 😢 The universe clearly doesn’t want me to see Schindler’s List in person. I had tickets to Montreal Worlds cancelled 2 days before I was supposed to leave.

But between my sinus stuff causing ear issues and concern over flight issues on my return (the winter storm this weekend on top of staffing issues will cause havoc somewhere & I have a meeting mon night)…just too many little things.

So disappointed.

I had a Championship weekend ticket, and it was refunded almost immediately (I had put in my request last Saturday night).

Yes, on Jan 7, Ticketmaster issued a full refund (including Ticketmaster fees :)) for my single-session ticket.

I requested the refund on Dec 28.
