I was so excited to see D/T and P/S again. Bang out of order to ask for payment - it's not exactly Worlds...

The Information Guide says there will be a livestream, but not for free this time.
€ 4,99 for an individual event
€ 6,99 for one day
€ 19,99 for the whole competition

Stream will be here: https://solidsport.com/bavarian-open
I know it's mad, but I just want to see Junior and Senior Pairs. I've just got the day pass at EUR6.99 for today only, still better than EUR4.99 for each of the two events. I just about can live with that.

In this field, only 2 German teams have already the minimums. Edit: and the Czech pair

If you will cheer on D/T for me as well @LadyB I would be grateful!

The top 7 after the Short now all have Jr Worlds SP minimums, with William/Lewers (USA), Murray/Gillette (USA), Ackermann/Harms (GER) and Lossius/Rotar (GER) earning them for the first time here.:jump:

I'm hoping that all 7 can also earn them in the Free (or at least one of the US and two of the German teams, so that both countries can use up the spots earned at Jr Worlds last season).

Of course, I did - for both of us! They are Klimov Team after all - and in first place!!! They're in the lead with 66.00 points to Pavlova/Sviatchenko's 65.07. Dmitriy Savin looked rather pleased with the late evening adventure :love2: FS should be interesting, but I'll decide tomorrow whether I'll pay for it.

Great to see Nolan Seegert in action as a coach. (y)

That's quite a score for them. That must have been worth it. Thank you!

Naomi Williams/Lachlan Lewer (USA), Lilianna Murray/Jordan Gillette (USA), Aliyah Ackermann/Tonija Harms (GER) and Sonja Löwenherz/Robert Löwenherz (GER) have indeed managed to get their FS TES minimums, so both the US and Germany will be able to fill their quotas. 😁 Barbora Kocianova/Lukas Vochozka (CZE) already had the minimums from last season, but they'll be happy going into Jr Worlds with another good competition and a silver medal in their pocket.

Josephine Lossius/Artem Rotar (GER), unfortunately, missed the TES minimums by just 0.15, but have solidified their position as the third-best German Jr pair and will certainly be afforded spots on the JGP circuit next season.

Unfortunately, Janne Salatzki / Lukas Röseler (GER), who were in 3rd after the Short, were unable to reach the FS TES minimum. They've shown great improvement in training (even learning a 3FTh, which looked very good tbh), but their season has been derailed a bit by illness, which forced them to drop out of German Nationals. I'm wondering if the illness (or also the break from training) still had an impact on their stamina, which would no doubt affect the Free Skate a lot more than the Short. 🤔

Also, I found out that the (very new) Spanish pair, Linda de Nardin / Patrizio Rossi, actually jump/spin in opposite directions :eek2: Here's a video of their Short from this event:

Both Verhaegh/van Geffen and Shilling/Baeten were very close to Worlds TES minimum,

32.70 and 32.89. Minimum is 33
Hopefully, they can still get it before Worlds (at Challenge Cup maybe?)

This was Shilling/Baeten's first international competition together, so I'm already very impressed and optimistic about their chances to get Worlds minimums.
Also, they were not the only Belgian Ice Dance team to debut here - Sofiia Beznosikova / Max Leleu also did. They finished in 7th in Jr Ice Dance and managed to achieve the Jr Worlds minimum on their first try (and that with the added pressure of this being the last chance to do so).🥳

Verhaegh/van Geffen are entered at Ephesus Cup and Shilling/Baeten at Egna Dance Trophy, both being held next week.
Then I guess both are likely to do Challenge Cup.
I hope both couples get those points. I am slightly biased towards Verhaegh/Van Geffen due to my own nationality, but I want as many countries as possible there! And, Belgium is a good neighbour so I want them for Shilling/Beaten as well!

Netherlands also have Jakucs/Galli who are in the same situation of Verhaegh/Van Geffen (Free Dance minimum achieved and less than 1 point away from RD one). J/G will be in Egna next week.
