I assume she's going to Worlds, as she's the only Czech woman with minimums, but maybe it would be better for her to skip them.

I think there is no hope of getting an extra spot. and she doesn't rest last season, she doesn't recover properly... and she suffers on the ice. this is not good for anyone

I was hoping that among the juniors I would find a Romanian girl who could replace Beschea, but unfortunately not... somehow I can't like her

Day 4 follows the same order as Day 3. So, we conclude the two Junior categories, and then conclude the two Senior categories. In each case, boys first, then girls.

We start with 10 boys, arranged into two groups of 5.

Just to warn you, I'm not going to be able to watch LIVE, as I am catching up on the races from this morning's opening round of the World Superbikes.

But, I will play catch-up when I'm finished with the bikes.

We stay with the Juniors, but move from the boys to the girls. 35 of them, arranged into a group of 5; followed by five groups of 6. Resurfacings after even-numbered groups.

I just finished watching the bikes a couple of minutes ago, so I think I'll join the girls LIVE, and catch up on the boys during the resurfacings.

Welcome to the club!

A lot of skaters that I like are not the best skaters out there. Everybody, myself included, knows they are never going to trouble the top scorers. But, that doesn't matter. There are other things about them that draw me to them.

I really took a liking to Maria Bianca IONESCU (ROU) when she did her FS in the first group. She didn't have the best skate (she went into penultimate position in the FS, where she has remained), but I just loved her reaction afterwards. It was just so human. And so endearing.

And I loved the moment when she dropped one of the many cuddly toys she was carrying and went back for it.

I didn't recognise the name, but when I started playing and saw her, I thought "Yes, I remember her!"

Still can't believe she was only 14 there.

It's just so much more when you can see just how much the skater is enjoying doing their routine. It was obvious that Apiksana was absolutely loving every moment of that.

And that is the way it should be!

Even though her face was hidden by a mask, you were left in no doubt as to how delighted she was with her score.

She is just adorable. And I hope we get to see her again sometime soon.

unfortunately, last year she was only fourth in the junior championship, so this season she could not compete at JGP. and the 3S still doesn't work for her

Good job by the cameraman and the rinkside announcer alerting Ruxandra ROTUNDU (ROU) to the fact that she had missed picking up some of her gifts.

Unfortunately, she has dropped places. She goes into 5th in the FS, and 3rd overall.

And Ruxandra was the last of the Romanian skaters.

It's all foreigners from now on. Including a grand total of SEVEN Italians.

And let's not forget that we currently have an Italian in the lead (Elisabetta PROFAIZER, who skated just before Ruxandra). And a big lead it is too! She leads by 11.17 points in the FS, and by 13.15 points overall.

Given how close the skaters we are seeing at the moment were in the SP, she could climb up considerably.

in the first four groups there were two women among the girls. the Mexican Victoria Tabe Artasanchez's movements already showed that very mature yesterday, and today she performed a really serious program. the transitions, the insert dances - very well thought out and constructed fs.
but I'll risk that we've already seen the performance of the day as well, presented by Elizabetta Profaizer (ITA). she was wonderfully sensual (to a great choice of music, in a nice, understated costume).

I must also mention two Turkish girls. I can't talk about them in superlatives, but I couldn't take my eyes off them. Ulutas Defne's dynamism and Defne Cetin's charming elegance... you don't have to jump quads to stand out from the crowd

I like Zala Grum more and more every day. she is starting to become a particularly serious skater - in jumps, performance, speed
