8 boys, arranged into two groups of 4.

But, I'm not going to be able to watch the Seniors LIVE, as I will be leaving for food at quarter past the hour, and then doing other things after eating. So, I will watch some more of the Junior Men's FS until tea-time.

Oh, I would love to see Jojo go to Worlds. Apart from the fact that I like the girl, we don't get to see the Kiwi skaters too often. And, the more countries the merrier!

By the way, I did get the Junior Men's FS finished before leaving and, now that I have finished eating, have just started into the Senior Men's FS.

I'm running behind because of breakfast.

That was so funny. And so cute.

At the end of the Warm-Up, the announcer introduced the first skater, and a wee girl came out and got into position. And the announcer, off mic, asked her "Are you Iva ANDREEVA?" And the wee girl nodded. And the announcer asked again, and the wee girl looked over at her coach, and then nodded again. Then the announcer asked slower and louder "Are you Iva ANDREEVA from Bulgaria?" And the wee girl shook her head, and went back to the gate.

Then the announcer said over the tannoy that Iva ANDREEVA from Bulgaria had withdrawn, and introduced the next skater, who is Ukrainian. And she came out again and everything continued as normal.

To be fair to the wee girl, she had the same first name as the girl that had withdrawn. And, you never know, her Dad might actually be called Andrei. So, if that is the case, she would be used to being called that.

But, it just goes to show that the skaters need to listen carefully when the announcer is doing the introductions.

Plus, it confirms that the announcers do already know who is there and who isn't.

YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been saying for years that the "Imperial March" from "Star Wars" would be a great piece for skating to.

And it even included Darth Vader's breathing!

So, thank you to Skater #12 for making my dreams come true!

The only problem is that there was an awful re-mix of the main theme at the end.

Well, that wasn't the only problem. Amongst other mistakes, she had a fall. And she went into last position, 9.77 points behind the girl in front of her.

And that is it for the Interclub part of the event. We now move onto the Recreational part of the event for the rest of the day. But, since the end of the Intermediate Novices, I have bailed out to catch up on this morning's World Superbike races. I might play catch-up on the skating later after dinner, but I don't know.
