This program can be great, I love it already and it has such a wonderful contemplative energy. Today, it was a fight. Tomorrow, it may be a masterpiece.
Just sneaking on here to say: what gorgeous skating by Shoma despite the fall. I so wish there was more room in the PCS scores because I think that was superior choreographically and artistically.
And btw. I think 4Lo should be worth more points. Even though 3Lo is easier than 3F for instance it is at least as hard if not harder as a quadruple jumps. There's a reason why do little skaters attempt this jump. CoP clearly has some deficiencies even if less than just a few years ago.
Edit: I also would've been fine with Shaidorov getting silver since I too felt Shoma's 4F GOE in the SP was a bit generous (though lower GOE alone wouldn't have changed the final placements)
