Continuing the family theme, is skater #6, Alicja REJMENT (POL), Agnieszka's sister?

EDIT: Looking at their ISU Bios, they were born in the same town, currently live in the same city, and belong to the same club. So, it is probably safe to say that, even if they are not sisters, they are at least related.​

I didn't pick up on that earlier, because they are competing at different levels.

For the record, Alicja was 13th in the Junior SP with a score of 32.55.

Is Alicja with her? No. But, she does have Dorota and Mariusz. (There's only 3 chairs out for the Singles skaters, so not enough to go around! )

She is struggling to see the screen! Is this a skater that should be wearing glasses?

She goes into 4th position, with a score of 44.94 points.

So, both Rejments are currently in penultimate position in their respective categories. But they both have a chance of climbing up positions tomorrow.

Piredda has a masive lead. But then we have a Polish 2-3-4.

Although the Gold Medal is already out of anybody else's reach, all the other positions are up for grabs. The rest of the field (6 skaters) are covered by exactly 10 points.

So, plenty to play for tomorrow.

Day 4 is starting now, and all of the action will be finishing up the categories that held their Short Programme segments yesterday.

I had intended to watch today, but I found out last night that one of my kids is competing in the Abu Dhabi Classic Trophy. So, I will be watching it instead today and tomorrow.

We start with the Advanced Novices. And taking us up to the first resurfacing will be 14 girls, arranged into two groups of 7 girls. Oh, and the first group is all Polish.

Oscar is indeed Olivia's brother.

Sorry, I am no good at naming coaches. I actually thought it was maybe his mother!

I didn't see them today, but judging by Ryszard's reaction to his scores yesterday, I think Oscar's arrival is getting to him. Ryszard has come on so much since the first time I saw him crying his eyes out in Dundee a couple of years ago after a nightmare skate. Yesterday was by far the best I had seen him skate. Yet he was not happy at all.

Just looked at the results of the Junior Ladies.

Looks like Sara Bertolini didn't have a great skate. 2 points in deductions. She finished 6th in the FS, which dropped her from 2nd to 6th overall.

Martina meanwhile had 1 point deducted, and finished 10th in both segments, and overall. After seeing how happy she was yesterday, I think she will definitely be much happier with today than her wee sister.

But, it looks like another Italian, Elisabetta PROFAIZER, had a nightmare. 4 points in deductions! She finished the FS and overall in 9th, having been 8th in the SP.

Alicja Regment didn't have a great skate either, having 3 points in deductions. She stayed in penultimate position. Hopefully Agnieszka will fare better later in Seniors.

4 of them - the two Rols brothers, followed by the two Witkowski brothers. The two older brothers being in the middle.
