Anabelle's dress is pretty. This program was kind of like a fun night at retro junior prom.

Dylan Cain in his Grease costume is so adorable, I may faint. I always tried to get my nephew Bryce to dress as Travolta's character for Halloween, but he wanted to be Sandy instead. Not surprisingly, Bryce is one of the most successful drag performers in Ohio now.

Solid skate from Kristina and Matthew, except for a fall on his twizzle sequence. Lovely presence on the ice.

Always sad to see falls in ice dance programs. But I enjoyed Kristina and Matthews skate overall and look forward to watching them grow.

I fell asleep three times while the last team was awaiting their marks, but this pirate program is waking me up, along with the double espresso martini I just fixed.

Slightly cautious but very strong performance from Leah and Artem. Very difficult choreo that was well-executed. Love the quality of this team. They don't take the easy road.

Watched this last night. Big redemption for Neset and Markelov pulling up from 7th to win the whole thing! So close (less than a point) was Carhart and Horovyi... who looked to be on their way to the win when she fell on the twizzles. Must've been heartbreaking for them. Hauer and Starr steadily got silver and the Peals for the pewter. Was not expecting to see so many falls in ice dance - three in the free, two in the rhythm dance. Don't know if it was Nationals nerves or just one of those things (like the infamous Torino dance event). Congrats to the medalists!
