Alright, I think I've finally finished dealing with the tables. Please bear with me regarding the placeholder text because it's the only way to stop everything from going all haywire.

THis is a very exciting year for US ladies. The return of Alyssa - I am cautiously optimistic as after seeing some chosen clips we saw her struggle at shows but she has some good training. I think she has to decide what she is doing about school. Then you have the on again off again Bradie Tennell. Time is ticking with her. Injuries over the last few years have overshadowed her. Isabeau you would think would be in control as the world silver medallist but she hardly looked like she was in champion form for a world medallists in her first event. Ava who looked so promising now has a major injury so you have to wonder if she will be ready come Nationals. There is Lindsey of course and Starr who we keep think this could be her year but the clock is ticking. And Amber Glenn showing such promise and hope. Does anyone know about the sentimenysl favourite Gracie Gold is she competing or is it finally over?

Gracie is not competing this year to my knowledge. she has not announced her retirement, but had a hip injury last season.

HUGE congratulations to Amber on winning Lombardia!! she checked off a lot of important boxes here - hit 3As in both programs, solid skates, and beat the 3x and reigning world champion. i hope this was a big confidence boost to her. also, i think this was her first senior international win??

I think you're correct about this.

And now Elyce Lin-Gracey has medaled in her 1st two Senior competitions and just won Nebelhorn and put all that nonsense that she didn't deserve Skate America to bed.
And she beat Levito for the second time. If she beats her a third time at Skate America and Levito continues to look labored, then I’ll think of her as America’s #2 lady.

The GOE and PCS at this competition were a bit "special." Let's see what happens at Skate America. No doubt Lin-Gracey deserves higher GOE on all the toe jumps than Isabeau but I'm not sure the GOE she got on the other elements really reflected what was put on the ice. She got very favorable technical calling. I don't see her getting this PCS again with her rather empty programs unless she is the only skater to go clean. Ironically, I think the Challenger in the US scored her more reasonably. She does have a great 3Lz and great flow across the ice. Between Sarah and Elyce, I think Elyce is a better all around skater at this point. Much better SS. However, Sarah's programs are a lot more interesting. They both make the US women's field more compelling as does the return of Alyssa and, hopefully , the return of Bradie.

What did everyone think of the return of bradie tennell?
Truthfully, I think she needs to stop ending her long programs with back-to-back spins. She was really rushing at the end. But she's promising.

Sophie Joline von Felten just replaced Mia Kalin at JGP Wuxi. That event is going to be stacked, but if she can do well, she has a chance at the JGP final given her win this week.

I think she just has to place 4th. But, that will be tough in that field of skaters
