2024 Lombardia Trophy is the third of 11 events of the 2024-25 Figure Skating Challenger Series and is scheduled to take place in Bergamo, Italy, September 13-15, 2024.

The event will feature all four figure skating disciplines (Men, Women, Ice Dance, and Pairs) and will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations, ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules for Single & Pair Skating, Technical Rules for Ice Dance, and relevant ISU Communications.

The event will count towards ISU World Standing Points, Minimum Total Technical Score, Challenger Series in Figure Skating Ranking and Prize Money.

The Challenger Series is an International Figure Skating Series, introduced during the 2014-15 season. The series gives adequate opportunities for many skaters to compete at the international senior level and earn World Standing Points. The Series also increases the opportunity for Officials to officiate at an international level.

and, as usual, no Canadian entry in any discipline ;)
What a missed opportunity. This would provide a great chance to gauge relative strengths and also to provide much needed competition experience.

There are some very strong skaters here... it would be a chance to see how things are stacking up against the best.

But there are also some up-and-comers. Again... how would the not-top-tier Canadians fare against this crew as the season kicks off?

We'll never know.

I've heard rumours that there will be Canadians at Nebelhorn, but it's really just rumours at that point. Next week we'll know more.

For @labgoat you might know the answer.

Why are Flores/Desyatov listed as subs? Is there some rule that limits the number of American dance teams to 2?

The US men have three entries...

I share @CrazyKittenLady surprise at the lack of Italian men. They have four women and four dance teams and three pairs. But no men?

Sorry, I don't know the answer, but I am sure someone who does will see your post.
