Seems like my junior crystal ball is broken but my senior one is somewhat still working This is the first time in a JGP where I didn't get even a tiny individual medal I believe... LOL... I tried !! i swear !!

Always congrats to the winners... some of these scores are impressive... and thanks to those organizing these. They add fun to our competition thread banter.

Oh, gosh, I can't believe I got an overall silver this time. Luck of the draw, I guess, because the results were so random and in some disciplines the young athletes were virtually new to international competitions.

That was a low-scoring competition except for pairs, but individual gold overall despite the scores? How did that happen? I knew I'd done well in pairs, but I thought I'd done really badly everywhere else because my scores were so low!

I did so terribly this week, and so I am shocked that I am currently in 3rd place in the overall standings.

It turns out that paying too much attention to the past scores listed out in skatingscores isn't always that helpful... there are so many surprising skaters that come out with a bang after a summer of hard work and turn your predictions upside down.
