Skate Ontario's site is having some technical difficulties right now. Streaming is working for Senecal rink, and it's on Dailymotion in addition to their streaming site. The results are going up after the event ended, clicking on it before gives a database connection error.

Korneva/MacDonald - not disco! 53.93, good start, I like their music choices.

Palomeque/White - and Le Freak/Hot Stuff. Twizzles were rough. 33.26

Bashynska/Beaumont - nice leopard print. They looked like they had fun, technically ahead of the other teams. 68.0, definitely the clear winners.

Also the commentator is Jacob White.

thanks to those putting links and comments about performances. I am in such a busy part of my life right now... so much happening. I think I may be able to squeeze in sunday morning. but yeah...

i am not even sure I will be able to go watch CQE live at this point... but yeah. strangely, the summer will be gone and normal and way crazier life will happen but more time for skating perhaps.

looking forward to rewatching some of the highlights. I did watch BB's voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir

Amelia Dufour-Saysourinho/Anthony MacDonald withdrew from the RD.

Kravets/Dotzert - I'm giving bonus points for not disco. Oh, and then into September, spoke too soon for not disco Sounds a bit like a techno remix? I think sticking to one decade would be better. Stop In The Name Of Love was a better choice than September. 42.74

Chung/MacKenzie - Ooh they have a cheer squad there. Twizzles had a stumble. I like their music choices. 38.75

Tong/Boutsan - They also have a cheer squad Space disco with those jumpsuits and Madison in the Princess Leia buns. 42.39

Chao/Caron - Jungle Boogie, Ladies Night and Daddy Cool. I liked them. 38.75

Batkova/Yang - More disco And into Proud Mary. I think they were more into Proud Mary than I Will Survive. 46.72

MacKenzie/Lockwood - I'm not liking his costume. The baggy untucked shirt doesn't work for me when she's in a fitted dress, I think it should be tucked in. Wanderer and Runaround Sue, good choices. Cute program. 41.58, I think they've got potential.

Carandiuc/Carandiuc - I have a soft spot for Night Fever. I like his bell bottoms and her boots. I don't think they needed Tragedy in the mix if they weren't going to use a lot of it. 52.02

I got a cold after visiting family, so starting early since I'm staying in Pre-Novice men have had some interesting music choices. A Get Smart/Mission Impossible program and a Back To The Future program (complete with red vest!)

I’m joining you this morning. I hope to watch as much of the Junior girls, as possible, before heading out for the day. I really was looking forward to the Senior ladies. But, I don’t think I can watch that LIVE today. I’m going to bring my IPad with me, and maybe I can watch here and there. Will take a look at this chat to see how our Canadians are making out

Senecal sounded fine when I checked it out, but I don't think they're trying to have commentary for that stream. I think I heard Jacob White during the warm-up for this group, so maybe that's causing the issues.

Yes. I like her energy and spins. She has an outside chance of getting a JGP spot. At least, she is competing a lot. Also, she is really trying by attempting a triple triple combo.

I hear someone providing commentary at the Manley rink. I don’t think they realize we can barely hear them. So, he is basically speaking to himself

The sit position in her change combination spin is mind-bogglingly fast. Her jumps are big, but her rotation speed is currently not fast enough to get them fully around. Well-rounded skater otherwise.
