Minsol Kwon

If she shows up on the sectional qualifying list for score tracking that Skate Ontario will publish next week, then maybe there's credence to the rumours.
if you look at dance, there are 2 teams from Sweden and one from the Czechia so why would Minsol not be listed as representing Korea ?

I mean, can you imagine if Minsol represented Canada, all the love a Canadian woman skater would get after all these years ? She has so many fans... I'd chuckle a bit.

The Swedish teams were listed as representing their Canadian clubs in August sectionals, plus all the Senior ice dance teams who were listed as representing IAM Ontario instead of their respective federations there. Tzu-Hang Ting was listed as representing the Cricket Club instead of Chinese Taipei when she competed at Skate Ontario July 2023, so it's the same for Singles.

Sectional qualifying list would be definitive since she'd need to be on that in order to qualify for Nationals if she is going to represent Ontario.

yes. I didn't say it was definitive of course... and we will see how things end up later. Sectionals will indeed be very revealing.

Start orders were added, and Reese Rose did withdraw. Breken is on the start order for now. John Kim and David Bondar are also on it, but I wouldn't be surprised if they withdraw since it's a week after Wuxi.

Minsol will be skating 5th in the first warm-up group of the short program. I'm getting the hang of screen recording, I should be able to get it šŸ¤ž

Is this or next domestic event and final domestic event prior to Sectionals.
I canā€™t wait for Minsol Kwonā€™s debut
Plus, the other events have some pretty good athletes.
It should be the final domestic fall competition before sectionals start šŸ‘

There's some good representation from different sections, especially Saskatchewan.

Skate Mariposa wishing their skaters good luck. Gabrielle Daleman is not listed in it, so I think she's withdrawn.

The start orders haven't been updated, so any other withdrawals will probably be known when they're called (or not called) to the ice.

41.21 in the short for Back/Mahoney, nice improvement from NextGen :)

Also Schmitz/Eberl withdrew, they weren't called to the ice for Senior Pairs.
