2024 South Korean Figure Skating Ranking Competition

The Ranking Competition determines who gets 4CC tickets and is half the criteria for who gets in the National Team. NT members are decided by combining the results of Nationals and the Ranking Competition, the main team consists of 9 women, 5 men and 2 ice dance teams, the reserve team 9 women and 3 men. As always the distinction between seniors and juniors is domestic, i.e. not taking age into account.

The top 30 skaters from the SP qualify into the FS.

The entries and the time schedule aren't up yet, the OP will be edited when they are uploaded. Broad schedules are decided though, 11.28 for junior SP/RD, 11.29 for junior FS/FD, 11.30 for senior SP/RD, 12.1 for senior FS/FD.

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Seol Ha-eun = The court suspended the effect of the Korea Sports Council's disciplinary action to suspend figure skating athlete Lee Hae-in (19).
According to Lee Hae-in's side, the Seoul Eastern District Court accepted the injunction to suspend the disciplinary action filed by Lee Hae-in on the 12th.
Earlier, on August 29, at the retrial of the Sports Fair Play Committee of the Korea Sports Council held at the Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul, Lee Hae-in applied to the court for an injunction to suspend the disciplinary action after the Korea Skating Union's three-year suspension of qualification was confirmed.

Lee Hae-in, who temporarily had his athlete qualifications restored following the court's injunction, plans to compete in the 2024 National Men's and Women's Figure Skating President's Cup Ranking Competition to be held at Uijeongbu Indoor Ice Rink in Gyeonggi Province starting on the 28th.

Uncanny that this is happening at the same time as Challenge. Minsol did compete, as a guest, at Ontario Sectionals. I guess she may be doing like Uliana. One year as a guest and then ask for the release. I read somewhere her parents are immigrating to Canada... but i have no idea if that's true.

I'm not putting Minsol in any category, her status is a big question mark and I'm just going to wait and see if she's listed for Nationals, if she isn't then I'm assuming that she is going to ask for a release and if she is on the entry list then I may get my hopes up

I am not worried about south korea not working with skate canada if ever that is indeed the case... canada has given korea a lot already

My darling's ankle is definitely not okay, during official practice he literally jumped only three triples (3S 3F 3Lz) and each time winced and/or shook his ankle, and with the flip and lutz did not manage to do the combination because his ankle wasn't holding out. I want to die.
