2024 Trophy Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur is the seventh of 11 events of the 2024-25 Figure Skating Challenger Series and is scheduled to take place in Nice, France, October 16-20, 2024.

The event will feature the single (Women and Men) and Ice Dance disciplines, and will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations, ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules for Single & Pair Skating, Technical Rules for Ice Dance, and relevant ISU Communications.

The event will count towards ISU World Standing Points, Minimum Total Technical Score, Challenger Series in Figure Skating Ranking and Prize Money.

The Challenger Series is an International Figure Skating Series, introduced during the 2014-15 season. The series gives adequate opportunities for many skaters to compete at the international senior level and earn World Standing Points. The Series also increases the opportunity for Officials to officiate at an international level.

I have yet to see an entry list for the juniors.

Also are there going to be any pairs? The announcement said there were.

No more than one French Pair?
There's a bit of a shortage of French pairs in seniors at the moment. They weren't able to fill all of their host GP spots. The Kovalevs and Faula/Belle competed at Tayside this past weekend and have the French GP event in a couple of weeks. I suspect that is being seen as the priority. Competing this weekend would mean doing 3 competitions in 4 weeks.
