Thank you so much @saine for the info. :love2:

1. Where did you find these? I feel embarrassed putting you to so much work.
2. Why do they have all the confusing dashes instead of "written by;" "performed by" etc?
3. Is Katherine Medland Spence's SP really "Take Me Home Country Roads??".
It does not sound like it :slink: either to me or to Soundhound.

Shazam, I'm familiar enough with the skaters now that it doesn't take me too long to find them.
2. Why do they have all the confusing dashes instead of "written by;" "performed by" etc?
My apologies, that's how I've been writing it out. Shazam presents it as song - artist. My apologies, I'll try to make it clearer in the future.

It does not sound like it :slink: either to me or to Soundhound.
It is, she discussed it in this interview:
Then came the short program which, for the second straight year, Medland Spence skates to an orchestral version of “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” the iconic 1970s hit by John Denver that is still sung with great vigour at West Virginia Mountaineer college football games (“my sister found that piece of music and showed it to me and I was like, I have to skate to this because I’m a big fan of country music,” she said. The program opens with “No Time For Emotion,” from the Kingsman: The Golden Circle movie soundtrack).
I missed that opening song though 😅

Soundhound got No Time For Emotion but did not find anything that sounded like Take Me Home Country Roads. and I did not either and I know all the words to it.

It will be interesting to see how Medland Spence does at Nationals. She showed she can compete and hold it together by winning Warsaw, but she was an unknown then and had nothing to lose. Winning there now has her as a medal threat. It would be nice if she can hold it together and win a medal or even place 1st. We need to have at least one lady who is consistent, and does not fold under pressure. So far we have a bunch all in the same boat, they can deliver good skates here and there but not from event to event. Kaiya did well at last year's Nationals but then did not produce good skates at Jr Worlds, or even since. It also would be nice if we see 3 or 4 of them really fighting it out for the medals. Our best years in Ladies skating were when we had 3 or 4 all going for the medals and challenging each other year after year.

I think Katherine will do great. She is a breath of fresh air. She almost won sectional’s as well. The podium is definitely up for grabs this year, lots of new talent on the horizon.

Great job by Julianne

TES tracker is counting the extra 10% for both backloaded jumps though.
We don't have a tracker here but when I was watching juniors, the tracker was still not counting the axel sequence or invalid jumps properly... So I wouldn't trust it much
