I see Shunsuke Nakamura was the only one of the top guys who went for a quad, which is impressive even if he fell on it (as I assume from the GOE). I'm looking forward to seeing Tsuboi and Kataise's FSs, if they become available. Kataise has a nice quality to his skating.

Sakurako just had the most unexpected, awkward fall on a 3S attempt

Edit:
And Ayumi just lost part of her costume (hair clip) on the ice...

Sorry, started to take notes of jumps to report but I'm sleepy and kept spacing out so gave up

Thank you @tsuyoboogie for providing so many videos! I really appreciate it. I only had the chance to watch a few of the junior men so far, but Kataise and Nakamura really impressed me. Kataise is very graceful and pleasant to watch and has really nice spins, while Nakamura is a super fast and effortless skater and clearly has the talent and ambition to execute very difficult elements. I’ll be rooting for him to go clean at Nationals and show us what he can do. I really want to see that flashy step sequence in its full glory.

Will watch the junior women later today.
