American Ice Theatre performance in Minneapolis Dec. 10

Excellent performance last night in Mpls, billed as A Night of Contemporary Skating. There were performances by AIT Professional Companies from Boston, Mpls. (Senior & Junior), Cleveland, New York City. The Boston offering "Streams, Rivers, and Ocean" looked to me the most like synchronized skating, it had such a lovely flow to it. Some really great solos, esp. by Garrett Kling and Kelly Smith, who also appeared in a male trio Take Flight, mesmerizing.

I found out about it by accident the week before when I got off the ice after watching Garrett practicing. I said to him "you must be getting ready for something".

So great to see so many talented performers when there aren't really many professional opportunities in the US.
