They didn't do that well at their 2015-2016 Junior Grand Prix event, but they have skated very well at internal Russian Cup events. It looks like they might very well make it to the 2016 Junior Worlds, although they will face very tough competition at the 2016 Russian Junior Championships, of course. Anyway, at the moment it looks like this pair would the third best Russian pair.

I loved their SP today too- really mature and I loved how they seemed to actually have fun while they were skating it :) I wish them all the best in the LP!

Great score today at the Bavarian Open - 118.02. Their total score was 175.84.

I wish there would be videos but I haven't found any.

I don't believe the Bavarian Open counts for SB or PB but their score here is higher than anything the other top junior teams have put out (excluding Oganesian/Bardei, who they beat here, as their Bavarian Open score is much higher than anything else they did this year)

171.86 Ekaterina BORISOVA / Dmitry SOPOT RUS ISU Junior Grand Prix Final 2015/16
166.13 Anna DUSKOVA / Martin BIDAR CZE Youth Olympic Games
162.50 Amina ATAKHANOVA / Ilia SPIRIDONOV RUS ISU JGP Cup of Austria

Also looking at the PB TES from everyone's free skates:

61.70 Mishina/Mirzoev
55.33 Borisova/Sopot
53.41 Duskova/Bidar
52.83 Atakhanova/Spiridonov
52.24 Oganesian/Bardei

Even assuming some inflation, their scores hold up very, very well. Hopefully they get confidence from this and repeat this type of skate at JW. It's exciting, so many good teams at the junior level right now.

Anastasia and Vladislav @ Junior Worlds I

From my report,

Currently leading with 64.71 are Anna Duskova and Martin Bidar. For me, they have excelled everything they did so far! If you consider how shaky they were a few months ago, I would have never guessed that they would have a shot on the medals and now they are about five points in front of Anastasia Mishina and Vladislav Mirzoev with 59.50 points.
Both pairs, did the exact same program, based on their basic elements, but the Czech managed to grab that level four for their steps, while the Russians only got a level three there. In general, seeing both pairs is a real joy for me, as the so called "strong male part" is present, but you also have the girl with all her beauty and the smiles and together they create something super amazing. So different and yet, so equal!

The Bolero of Anastasia and Vladislav is for me, one of the best I have seen in the past 10 years. It´s a different type of Bolero than for instance of Caroline, yet not less good! The elements are perfectly on beat, like their hop after the lift, or the turns and arm movements in their step sequence. What she does with her right hand on the back at the throws is so unique and so is what she does with her shoulders and elbows, it just looks really good to me and not lose at all with strong posture and a very charming expression. I love how the 14 years old always pulls out the smartphone after her skates, maybe checking the reports here at Goldenskate. ;)

Anastasia and Vladislav, Junior Worlds II

A well deserved silver medal for these two Russian skaters, I loved every moment of their free!

from my report,

On two with 172.60 points, came my Russian favorites this season, Anastasia Mishina and Vladislav Mirzoev, with a very gutsy performance and speed, but especially great linking of their elements to the party and love theme to "Attention Mesdames et Messieurs" and "La vie en rose". Their program had only one error and besides that offered all their trademarks, the parallel blades, the hand behind the back during the throws of Sal and Loop and huge expression and lovely spins, all gaining the level four modification!

Anastasia is a great character, she has such a calm side and way to almost "shy away" at times and then she can explode and be all naughty, it´s great to see such a variety by the young Russian who fought very bravely on their triple toe – double toe – double loop combination, in which she had a problem at the first toe and yet, managed to get it around and only pop the loop in the process.
Vladislav on the other hand, seems like a real gentleman, holding the door open for his girl, making sure she is doing all right and I always say, you must treat your partner on the ice, like you would treat your girlfriend, be gentle and soft and give them a shoulder to cry on if necessary...
