Yes, she is! I'd still like to update with more videos/articles soon, but I'd already been working on this for awhile and wanted to finally get it posted up.

Great work mate!

I'm the same as you, sabinfire - Angelīna only came up on my radar this season as well. But boys did she come up on it big time!

I am sorry if I sound like a stuck record (I must have brought this up on this forum a dozen times!) But, I still cannot get over what she did at the end of January / beginning of February.

To compete in both segments of 2 different competitions in 2 different countries in the space of 6 days, with the SP for one the day after the FS for the other, is remarkable in itself. But, to do so well in both (5th in the EYOF; 7th in Europeans) is unbelievable.

This girl has definitely got what it takes to become a star. And I really hope she does!

Good luck to Angelina at her first GP! (And it looks like she'll be in the second group too... that can only help. :p)

She had a clean SP(3Lz 3T-3T 2A) and earned a score 58.14.

I really hope to see her at Junior Worlds this year along with Diana Nikitina... I think it would be a mistake for her to take the attitude that she's a senior now and shouldn't bother with Junior Worlds. Leonova was 18 when she won Jr Worlds and Wagner was 17 when she won Bronze for the 2nd time.

There's a long interview with Angelina here, in Latvian. Per Google Translate, this is what it covers:

Already on Wednesday in the European Championship in Bratislava will also launch a 17-year-old Latvian figure skater Angelina Kučvaļska, so a couple of weeks before the race we invited him to the negotiations, which have tried to get acquainted with Latvian sports fans in the middle of yet not-so-popular sport. Angelina told about daiļslidotājas inventory, self-preparation matches and the debut of the "Grand Prix" stage in Bordeaux, as well as the great goal - membership of the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic Winter Games.

00:00:40-00:06:26 The injuries summer menu and a constant weight retention of
00:06:27 to 00:12:08 of outfits, skates and relations with competitors
00:12:09 to 00:17:45 on training on the ice and dance
00:17:46 to 0:21:52 for the debut "Grand Prix" stage and excitement
0:21:53 to 0:24:39 The pucēšanos before the race
0:24:40 to 00:30:07 The nature and the receipt after the fall of
