In all seriousness, I'm a big fan of the simple hairstyles, my pet peeve is some of the ladies with the longer hair just doing a ponytail where they have a long ponytail whipping around during spins/jumps

Same here, I don't like ponytails and I would love for some of the skaters to see them in a bun. I like it when the skaters put some hair accessories on (such as Satoko's "Planets" LP: I also like the thing that Yuna has on this program () but I don't know its name!

At first I thought it was a hairstyle similar to Evgenia Medvedeva's during her first few senior seasons, where one takes hair, and rolls it, but after finding a photo in high enough resolution, it looks like she has a very neat and tight braid. French braid, maybe? At any rate, my guess is that it stays up because she tensions the braid correctly, plus there are probably a lot of hair pins in the bun!

Now I want to spend some time in front of a mirror, trying to replicate the look, to work out how exactly she makes that braid!

So much has been said about Bradie Tennell’s hair style, that it is matronly and uninspired. Frankly I think it is just fine and if late she seems to have made small changes. Other than a ponytail -which I think would be stunning with her long hair - what else would work for her?

A shaven head would be courages. Also interesting to watch fitting programs.

I like it when the women have a stylish short hair cut. Should also be easy for them to prepare at competitions. Using time for other preparations.

Well, I didn't want to be the first to take this away from current competitors....

At least in the US, the most famous competition hairstyle was Dorothy Hamill's. Girls and women whose first exposure to skating at all was asking for the Hamill wedge cut. Not to mention her ads for "Short & Sassy" shampoo.
