Daniil Samsonov (Даниил Александрович Самсонов) was born on July 13, 2005, in Moscow, Russia. Daniil is a Russian figure skater. He practiced figure skating in "Moskvich" (Moscow) until the season 2015/2016. Alexander Shubin was his former coach. Now Daniil trains at the ''Khrustalny'' (Sambo-70, Moscow). His coaches are Eteri Tutberidze and Sergey Dudakov; his choreographer is Daniil Gleikhengauz.

Daniil is the 2020 Youth Olympic bronze medalist, the 2019 Junior Grand Prix Final bronze medalist, the 2019 JGP Poland champion, the 2019 Winter Children of Asia International Sports Games champion, and a two-time Russian junior national champion (2019, 2020).

He is a Kool Kid for sure.

Emotional involvement in the music and dance will come with time, Gleikhengauz will see to that.
 
I really like him. He has very nice extensions. Actually, I feel he is much more artistic already than a lot of the Russian senior men.
 
I like his skating quite a bit. I'm really excited to see him next season internationally :)
 
Congratulations to Daniil on his win at Children of Asia Games in Sakhalin! Only mistake was a fall< on 4Lz in the FS. We know he can do it perfectly fine so we’re not to worry. SP 84.95, FS 153.11, 238.06 total score🥇[emoji1373]
