A short report on some results at NRW-trophy. Lindsay van Zundert (twice the winner of the woman's competition the last two times) will not compete, so there is no Dutch woman among the seniors. There are among the younger age groups:

Angel Delavaque is in 7th place after the SP by the Advanced Novice girls, followed by Naomi Wessels in 10th.
FS tomorrow as well as the SP for the Juniors (Ymke Jagersma, Lois Libregts, Tessel Clercx, and Emilie Schop)

I am wishing them all success and wish to cheer for them all as well. :hap10::hap10::hap10::hap10:

Regretfully the ID-couple of Hanna Jakucs and Alessio Galli are no longer on the entrees list.

The rivalry between the two Dutch pairs couples is turning out to be even more exciting than I first thought. Nika and Dmitry ended up 6th at the Espoo Grand Prix and Daria and Michel 5th. The exciting bit is that Nika and Dmitry won the FS with less than a point difference compared to Daria and Michel who however had a comfortable lead from the SP to maintain in 5th place overall. Well done to both teams! :cheer: :cheer:

At the NRW trophy regrettably Tessel Clercx withdrew from the junior women, and Lois Libregts is in 20th place, Ymke Jagersma 22nd. and Emilie Schop 31st after the SP (in total 33 competitors). Cheers for them tomorrow! :hap10::hap10:

Among the advanced novice girls Angel Delavaque managed to rise a placement to 6th due to being 5th in the FS while Naomi Wessels managed to rise 3: she ended in 7th overall. Well done girls! :cheer::cheer:

And three Basic Novice girls at Santa Claus Cup: Lucca Dijkhuizen, Kahlan Gooijer and Sofia Sun.

A junior woman at Bosphorus Istanbul Cup: Lois Libregts

I with them all success! :hap10: :hap10::hap10:

It seems my cheers from far away helped. Jazlynn ended in 33rd place because she managed to get 31st in the FS. Well done indeed. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Hanna and Alessio are in 4th place (out of 5, should have been 8 but last minute WDs) after the RD at the Bosphorus Istanbul Cup. Quite a good score too (55.06):clap:. I wish them success in the FD which will be today! :hap10: :hap10:

Hanna and Alessio ended in 4th place with 145,58 points. Regrettably the minimum TES for the WC were still far away (for the RD, got them for the FD), but these were SB's so that's fine. There is still time, and going to the EC wouldn't be a bad feat either! :cheer: :cheer:

Chelsea and Sherim are currently in 9th place (out of 14) after the RD with 54.64 points at Santa Claus Cup and the minimum TES for the WC just 0.29 points away. There are still possibilities to achieve those. I hope their FD will go well tomorrow. :hap10::hap10:

I just found out today that there will be 8 Dutch Junior Women at the Latvia Trophy from 16th-18th December.

It concerns the following:
Ymke Jagersma, Jane Knoester, Lois Libregts, Sharon Kuit, Dani Loonstra, Emilia Solouhkin, Julia van Dijk and Yolanda Vos.

So, now back to the Santa Claus cup with one of our ID teams.

From the Santa Claus Cup in Budapest: the ID team of Chelsea Verhaegh and Sherim van Geffen ended in 9th place. They missed both the minimum TES for the WC in the RD and the FD by less than a point! I'm hoping for them to get these point totals next time (at Golden Spin next week). Well done Chelsea and Sherim! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Report from Golden spin (no stream, no live scoring, just PDFs) after the SP's: Lindsay van Zundert is in 3rd place with 58.66 points (same number as Madeline Schizas from Canada) and for the pairs the results after the SP are very exciting: Daria and Michel are in 6th with 58.17 points, Nika and Dmitry in 7th with 58.10 points. The difference is 0.07 points. Wow! Let's see how it goes!

It's a pity there was no stream but we could follow the live scoring now. And Nika and Dmitry seem to have had a great FS. No falls, and in 4th place finally (from a 7th place in the SP). So proud of them! Daria and Michel ended in 8th. I wish to say to both couples: well done!!!!! :cheer: :cheer:

Final report from Golden Spin: Chelsea and Sherim had a not so good RD with 2 points deduction. However, they redeemed themselves a bit during the FD and managed to climb in the final standings from 20th to 18th! Hanna and Alessio on the contrary had a wonderful RD (14th place), but fell a little back in the FD and ended up being 16th. However in the FD Chelsea and Sherim were 18th and Hanna and Alessio 17th. Pretty close again. The points differential was 20 in the end. But I think both our ID couples have done well. Hurrah! :cheer: :cheer::cheer:

I expect to see Hanna and Alessio at Euros!

Scroll down until the last paragraph. To be honest: all as expected. To be fair: marathons on natural ice are more interesting to our Skating Federation. No surprises.
