There are going to be quite a few girls/young women at the NRW trophy in Dortmund, Germany from 16-19th of November.

In the advanced novice: Roos Harkema, Roos van de Pas and Summer Wijkhuizen.
In jr women: Angel Delevaque, Emilia Soloukhin and Jolanda Vos.
In sr women: Tessel Clercx and Tika Opdam.

Also a boy:
In advanced novice: Leon Lo

Regrettably no more competitors in men and none at all in Ice Dance (there is no pairs competition, probably because there were no or too few entrees in the past).

It's a pity none of the entrees were confirmed yet (although present in the live scoring lists) but the advanced novice girls and jr women were named on the Dutch skating website as going there.

Not only will there be a Dutch presense at NRW trophy, but also at Skate Celje in Slovenia which takes place simultaneously from 16-19 November.

In senior women:
Julia van Dijk and Dani Loonstra. These young women until now only skated in the Jr competitions, so it will be a new experience for them..

Update NRW Trophy:
Advanced novice boy Leon remained 10th after the FS, but he was 9th in that FS. Just too far behind to rise a place. Well done Leon!:cheer::cheer:
The advanced novice girls ended as follows:
Floor van der Pas 16th (11th in the FS, she went up quite a bit),
Roos Harkema 28th (23rd in the FS, she rose 2 placements),
Summer Wijkhuizen 30th (24th in the FS, she also went up quite a bit).
Well done girls as well! :cheer::cheer::cheer:

It seems the SP's need a little working on, as they all had better FS than SP's.

In junior women
Angel Delavaque is in 2nd place after the SP.
Emilia Soloukhin in 9th, and Jolanda Vos in 25th place.

In senior women
Tessel Clercx and Tika Opdam have both withdrawn.

It was a busy weekend for Dutch Figure Skating despite not being present at the Grand Prix.

At skate Celje in Slovenia Julia van Dijk is in 3rd and Dani Loonstra in 6th place after the SP. Good results for these women whom I believe competed in the sr ranks for the First time.

At the NRW trophy competition has finished.
In jr women:
Angel Delavaque was 2nd (after having a fantastic FS where she was first). A šŸ„ˆ.
Emilia Solouhkin ended in 6th (5th in the FS).
Jolanda Vos was 20th (18th in the FS).
Well done girls!!!!! :cheer::cheer::cheer:

At Warsaw Cup the the Dutch ID teams both competed.
Hanna Jakucs and Alessio Galli were 18th (both in the RD and the FD)
Chesea Verhaegh and Sherim van Geffen were 20th (21st in the RD, 19th in the FD).
I hope they'll both do a little better next ime. I'll be there to cheer. :hap10::hap10::hap10:

At skate Celje in Slovena Julia van Dijk ended in 4th (5th in FS) and Dani Loonstra in 6th place (also 6th in FS). Well done, especially since it was their first outing in srs! :cheer: :cheer:

Well, the GP's are done for this season (except for the GPF!) and our Dutchies are not in the final. Not that I expected them to be. Still, Daria and Michel are showing progress.

Daria and Michel ended in 5th place, after a good FS (except for Michels fall). Still love it that they're skating on The Chain. Well done! :cheer::cheer:.

Lindsay van Zundert is not enjoying her best season ever. She was 12th. Still cheering her, as she will have done her best. :hap10::hap10:

Roos van der Pas will be in Latvia in her first sr international competition.

I love it that the Dutch girls/women are trying out the srs this year, and that they get sent out to do so.

Euros:
For the Nederlands there are going to be one pairs couple (Daria Danilova/Michel Tsiba) and one ID couple (Hanna Jakucs/Alessio Galli). Regrettably the other pairs couple from our country split (I wrote about that earlier in this thread), so there will be just one Dutch pair.

Lindsay van Zundert qualified but will not come, on advice of her coaches. It seems there are private circumstances which have prevented her from training enough.

At Skate Helena in Belgrade from 3-6th of January in 2024 two Dutch young women will take part in the juniors: Emilia Soloukhin and Jolanda Vos. Some time later (18th-21st of January) at the Volvo open Cup in Riga, Roos van der Pas will participate in Sr Women and there will be four women participating in Jrs: Alessia Ballirano, Ymke Jagersma, Roos de Jong and Lois Libregts.

Emilia Soloukhin was 8th at Skate Helena and Jolanda Vos 9th. Close together: Emilia was better in the short (6th) and Jolanda in the Free (9th). In the end the difference was a bit more than 4 points. Well done girls! :cheer::cheer::cheer:

Daria and Michel were 8th at Euros. Not bad, especially their FS seemed to have been redemptive and made them rise in the ranks 2 places. Hope to see both programmes soon. Hanna and Alessio did not have a bad skate at all, but there were 33 (!) couples entered -no FD for 13 of them. Hanna and Alessio were 29th.
