Emilea Zingas and Vadym Kolesnik
Emilea Zingas and Vadym Kolesnik, who teamed up in May 2022, are an emerging U.S. ice dance team gaining momentum on the national and international stage. Together, they are the 2026 Four Continents champions, two-time Grand Prix medalists, five-time Challenger Series medalists, the 2026 U.S. National silver medalists, and the 2023, 2025 U.S. national pewter medalists.Kolesnik, a 2020 World Junior Champion, brings elite competitive experience, while Zingas adds expressive performance quality and refinement. Together, they have quickly established themselves as a team to watch in U.S. ice dance, competing in ISU Challenger and Grand Prix events.
Zingas was born on April 22, 2002. in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, while Kolesnik was born on October 27, 2001. in Kharkov, Ukraine.

Prior to their partnership, Zingas competed in the women's discipline for Cyprus, while Kolesnik competed in Ice Dance with former partner Avonley Nguyen for the USA.
As the whole of Emilea’s earlier career is dealt with in her thread, but only part of Vadym’s earlier career is dealt with in his and Avonley’s thread, the additional OP’s in this thread will focus on Vadym. Consequently, rather than having just one “Original Post”, this Fan Fest has three!
