Eva Kuts and Dmitrii Mikhailov (Ева Куць / Дмитрий Михайлов) are ice dancers representing Russia. Kuts was born 24th August 2001 and Mikhailov was born 15th April 1998. This season is their 3rd season together and last junior eligible season. Before teaming up with Mikhailov, Kuts skated two season with Juri Petrosian. Before teaming up with Kuts, Mikhailov skated one season with Julia Dolgikh.

They haven't had a superb junior career but I think they have made very good progress this season after their JGP event and to me they looked really good at the 3rd Russian Cup event.

They placed 7th at the 2018 Russian Junior Nationals and 10th at the 2017 Junior Nationals. They are coached by Ekaterina Rubleva and Ivan Shefer.

Too bad that this season is their last junior eligible season because this season is also the last junior season for both Khudaiberdieva / Nazarov and Shevchenko / Eremenko which means that there will be room on top for new teams next season. If Kuts/Mikhailov would have still been junior eligible next season then it could have very well be their breakthrough season. But it is what it is.

Finally some FD videos since FSrussia still haven't uploaded any.

Jr. Nationals. They were 5th which was a really great outcome for them. If only they would have one more junior season left because I am sure next season would have been their breakthrough season, but sadly this season is their last junior eligible season.

They have split up. According to rumors Dima retired and would like to become a coach. Eva is looking for a new partner. They progressed well this season but even so they would have had hard time in seniors next season. Anyway, hopefully Eva will find a decent partner.

It seems she has teamed up with Alexey Shchepetov. They are coached by Nicholas Buckland in usa.

I just discovered this team when I became curious about the background of the coach Dmitrii Mikhailov at Plushenko Academy (on a shallow note, I was wondering why people were waxing poetic about Rozanov and ignoring this other tall handsome guy...) I didn't know he retired so recently! Just watched through to their last competition at Jr Nats 2019 and saw what a beautiful team they had become in their last season: lovely lines and lilting knees, skating closely with smooth transitions between handholds... I'm heartbroken now... Plushy, why??

I do hope we see Eva competing again someday, if she wishes so!
