Haven't seen anything like that, so far: an unusual choreography, and inserting an off-ice part. But, perhaps, there are plenty other examples like that.

What i see is that basic skating on popular music draws more attention than most of videos of actual figure skating programs.

Maybe competitive figure skaters should do the same, for gala's programs.
Edited videos of Radionova gala's programs (with another music than the actual one) have millions of views. The editors uses popular songs.
At least this is not an edit. 29M of views. Popular songs draw more than the actual skating.
