Interview Finns Turkkila and Versluis ready to "tango"

We caught up with the duo in Champéry, Switzerland, and talked with them about their major focus during the off-season, including the development of their new programs.

Both programs mark a departure from their previous style, as the team felt prepared to take on a new challenge.

According to it the challengers they are planning are planning are Denis Ten Memorial, Budapest Trophy and Nepela Memorial. Trophée Metropole Nice Côte d’Azur is marked with "?".

I enjoyed the interview. I think their tango FD will suit them well and am looking forward to it. I thought it was interesting that they mentioned Yuka Orahira's mother will be making their costumes. I like the costumes she makes for Orahira / Pirinen so I was glad to hear this. Turkilla / Versluis normally have good costumes, and I'm sure these will not disappoint! But what I find most exciting about that is that her mother would make costumes for a fellow competitor! I think that's great!
