Pair skaters Gretchen Donlan & Nate Bartholomay, who teamed up in Jul 2014, represent the U.S. Donlan was born on November 18, 1993, in Boston, Massachusetts, while Bartholomay was born on May 18, 1989, in Newtown, Pennsylvania.

The short is very sexy! I always thought Nate was kind of squeaky clean, but this is something new. The long is beautiful. Gretchen's lines are as nice as any US lady pairs skater, I think.

I really expect them to move up the US rankings this season. Also hoping they get an early Challenger Series date so they have the possibility to sub into a GP if there are withdrawals.

I loved their SP in Detroit. Gretchen really rocked that unitard. I wonder if she'll keep it as her SP costume for the season? Their lifts were spectacular in both programs.

I wondered how Nate would do with a new partner, but Gretchen seems as feisty (that is a good thing) as Felicia. Lifts are great, if they get the SBS worked our, could be fun to watch.

Also have to say that I am a fan of Nate for personal reasons, as we have met. When he was about a year old. His mother has/had a bakery in Newtown, PA and 25 plus years ago she worked out of her house. My sister ordered her wedding cake from Ann Bartholomay and I was considering it. We went to her house to make arrangements, and a screaming, crying almost toddler just would not shut up, so Ann brought him out. The only time I have met a skater

But now Nate is my "homie", so go Nate!

Sure, there's work to do, but what great bones for these programs.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how they do this week at the US classic. Hopefully some kind soul will post videos I really enjoyed their short program in particular at skate Detroit- I think of her as so balletic but she was really rocking the sleek and sexy lines and vibe in that program!!

I love the new Frank Sinatra FS for them. It was cute how they began their Death Spiral on the words "and die."

Gretchen and Nate are my favorites of the new pairs teams that resulted in the re-shuffling after the Olympics. I'm impressed with how they're aligning their positions together. As Nate said, he's trying not to look like too much of a brute alongside her. <g>

One of my favorite things about this team is how she looks like she's in heaven during the lifts. Hope they can get the SBS consistent and the throw landings. The throws are beautiful.

I truly loved watching them skate. I love that program and they are beautiful. I don't know why I missed noticing them before but they have just been added in my favorites list.

Just got around to seeing this, and wow, I'm predisposed to like Nate, but boy, even without my prejudices, that program was captivating. Loved the step sequences, and (high praise from me) they sold it like Jason sells it. Woot again!

Totally shallow -- but at the end of Jason's Snapchat post today, he has a clip of him and Nate (they are roommates) right before bed. Nate has an awesome tattoo!

Congrats to Gretchen and Nate, who despite a really rough skate got a personal best long program score of 93.68, and a personal best total score of 145.44. Hopefully they will be able to continue to build on this at Skate America

Yes, that's the spirit, tulosai. This is an opportunity to build looking forward to SA.

Gretchen and Nate have such beautiful lines already, especially with their superb lifts. They both have nice musical expression, and I think the styles of these 2 programs are new for both of them. They have chemistry and sensuality as well as a rather tender connection. I have high hopes for them! p.s. fix the jumps, get an outside tech coach. A new perspective can be good; my 2 cents.
