Gurgenidze is one of the few junior skaters to have landed a triple Axel in competition. During the 2024 Junior Grand Prix series, she finished fifth and sixth in Turkey and China, respectively. While she didn't qualify for the Junior Grand Prix Final, her impressive technical skills and exciting new routines are making waves and winning her fans all over the world.

What are your thoughts on this skater's potential? What do you think of her programs for this season? What would you like to see improved for 2024-25?

I think Inga has a lot of potential. I love her long program. Reading that Julia, Evgenia and Liza T are her idols is wonderful. I think if she can emulate Julia's spins, Evgenia's consistency and acting on ice and Liza T's triple axel and longevity, she will have a fabulous career.

I was very impressed with her LP also. Clean jump technique, nice runout on jump landings. Expressive; nice feel for music. Very engaging skater and I will be rooting for her in the future.

She's my favourite international junior. I find the way she is scored really unfair, but she seemingly is not fazed, motivation is stronger than ever. As terrible as it is to see her underscored, maybe it's to her benefit long term as painful as it is now. And the skaters who are treated much more leniently maybe become complacent, they cut corners adopt bad habits that will make it harder as they grow.

With such height on her jumps, quads are a definite possibility, and maybe they can add a second triple axel if this consistency continues.

I've been loving Inga since her first international junior season (never heard of her before), and the more I see her the more I love her style.

She really is quite unique, with bold programs choices especially both her free skates this past years are truly amazing to behold. She obviously has a lot of technical prowess, but it's really the way she expresses herself that I adore.

She's a creepy gloomy girl and I mean that in all the best ways ; and I am so happy she exudes this energy but with her very own programs. Of course I'd be curious to see her skate to Wednesday, but I love that she doesn't. She doesn't need to go for the mainstream image of weird, she is weird in her very own way. I wish there were more girls like her

I will keep rooting for her, she deserves those big medals so much. Wish Inga tons of success, and that she paves the way for more individuality and alternative expressiveness in ladies figure skating

I also never seen Gurgenidze until she started juniors, but Mom did and was really excited to see her. We loved watching her live, and one thing I really admire about her/her coach is that she has input in her program choices and you can see she likes skating what she is skating and that it is different. Gurgenidze is a slower grower than other skaters, but that is not a bad thing with her goal being 2030 Olympics and 4 years in juniors. She will be an interesting addition to Gubanova in team Georgia--with hopefully more junior women qualifying and following them to this high level.
