I don't follow dance but I absolutely love the programs she did for single skaters. She is much more artistically talented than most other choreographers. She does not recycle movements for different skaters, nor recycle the same movement for the same skater. She really builds a program based on the music. Just look at how her programs transformed Young You or Wakaba this season.

I agree with most of what you have said except her recycling movement. Most every LP she has done for Ashley Wagner has very recycled movement.

Funny enough : if the IJS was created at her time we would have seen different situations.

1.Sale/Pelletier would have never had a reason to complain about the 2002 results because the gap would have been too big in the Short Program, and maybe PCS would have been too high for B/S in the LP for S/P to even be first in that segment. Funny that the whole Scandal created a system where they would have never been able to win. :scratch2:

2. However, I think Bourne/Kraatz would have been first many many more times under IJS. When I saw a video of them skate, this what striked me first. Very IJS team

I could listen to Shae for hours. She’s a brilliant choreographer and mentor. I hope Nathan Chen keeps working with her in future. Shae brings out the unique person each skater is and it shows in the programs she creates for them. Skaters seem happier and lighter within her programs. This is of course, what I personally see. Thank you Shae and Tedd. 😄

True!!!!! His programs, especially his SP are what make him stand out from the rest of the "Jumpers" especially here in the US. When you compare his SP to ALL of the US Men, it is really my favorite. In fact, it may be my favorite SP in the World this year.

Only thing wrong with this was that it was too short! :) So interesting. Thank you!
