Joseph won Challenge! He landed all his quads and 3As this weekend! Way to go! His win was clear, as he was 1st in both the SP and LP.

I wish him the same success at Nationals and hoping Skate Canada will smarten up about sending him to competition where to get senior TES min.... I understand that the goal is Junior worlds but yeah...

I congratulated Joseph on his victory after the ceremony, and when I offered him a small gift, he exclaimed in the most adorable manner, "Oh really?! For me?!" Awww, he's such a cute kid ; he clearly wasn't expecting anyone to give him anything. I also got the chance to meet his mother, and she asked me to take a photo of them standing together on the top step of the podium: a champion mom with her champion son. :thumbsup:

I saw joseph's fantastic national performance. in his sp, he looks little bit nervous. his speed & power was lower than other time. but in fs, he showed much better speed & power. i think if jo do such performance in junior world. he can be strong medal contender!

Hi suede, it's nice to see you again on this thread. I hope you'll post more often, as it's rather lonely here now that 4everchan is no longer active on this forum. I'd be thrilled if Joseph won a medal at Junior Worlds!

Although I had filmed this with my camera (which creates 1080p videos) from my friend's TV screen, the quality is fairly good for this type of recording. I don't have a tripod, so I did my best not to move my hands as much as possible.

I made that gesture when I was visiting Beijing and everyone kept asking me for a photo Just gives me something to do with my hands. So the people who asked just followed along and made a peace sign too
