Little award boxes

Someone asked what was in the little boxes that are passed out to medal winners but can't find where... Paul Wylie was sitting in front of use and explained it. It's like a lapel pin in the shape of a skate blade. It has the color of the medal, the year and the venue on it. The gold medal winner has a diamond. I would love to see one. What a neat pin to have.

Paul is very, very nice. He was chatting with anybody who came up to him and was sitting with Paul George (who was admitted to the skating Hall of Fame.)

I have seen Paul Wylie several times at different Nationals. He is always very friendly and accessible. The one time, i had just rewatched his 1994 Schindler's List pro competition program. It was fun to discuss that with him!
