I have a vested interest in this competition. One of my kids is making his competitive comeback with a new partner.

Really curious to finding out what Elise is like, because the last results I can find for her are from SEVEN years ago, back when she was a Novice singles skater!

Congrats to Adam for the comfortable win but Kevin's WD overshadowed the event a bit.

According to L’Equipe, he injured his ankle.

I think the shaking of his hand was probably a reaction to the pain?
I hope it’s not too serious, but he seemed to be in a lot of pain… L’Equipe said he was helped off the ice, and was taken to the hospital 30 minutes later.

Probably not!

I saw it live. It was so heartbreaking. I thought it was his hand. They stopped showing him, but you could hear him crying. It was so sad. I hope he is okay.

Yeah, it really looked like the hand first. But they ofc did not film further and had no replays.
Just such an odd weekend for Kevin. The short was a mess and it looked like he had not grip at all with his two jumps in the free.
Weird. Hope he gets better soon.
