From the ISU bios:

A coaching team of Yao Bin, Zhao Hongbo and Han Bing (I think she used to be an Ice Dance coach?) is working with all three Chinese teams.

Lori Nichol has done Peng/Zhang's and Pang/Tong's programs as well so she must have signed a big contract with the Chinese Fed before this season given for how many of their skaters she has choreographed.

The final step on the podium looks up for grabs. I would love to see M/R to claim it but I think the Americans are probably the favourties for it, either way I hope the Russians skate clean. I guess it is S/S for the victory followed by P/T.

Wang/Wang were surprisingly good! A lot of attention paid to presentation, program put together nicely. I expected big jumps and nothing else but this was very decent. :)

Zhang/Bartholomay lacked spark. Big music and their movements didn't live up to it.

Jim Peterson's geek chic in the K&C. <3

Peng/Zhang improved their presentation a lot. Quite sophisticated choreography. But her posture and lines still make me cry. Everything is so unextended.

Martiusheva/Rogonov landed all their jumps!!! OMG! First time in absolute ages (if not ever :p)! Program was bland and quite empty but still, good for them!

Martiusheva looked *very* unimpressed upon seeing their scores. Lv5 bitchface right there.

Not '>3.' ;)

<3 as in this. ^^

wow, Peng is 29 and Zhang only 16. Huge age difference.

And unless I got the interviews confused, he said he is still quite young and wanted to go on for another quad.

Given how much they've been improving and how young she still is, why not. Hopefully his body will allow him to. :)

Scimeca/Knierim took really bad, synchronised falls on 3salchows. Hand down on th3lutz. Good twist. Program was really bland though.

Can't wait for the protocols because I was very surprised to see them place second. The have stronger basic skating than Wang/Wang, yes. But the choreography and transitions weren't.

Popova/Massot - Bombing as usual. Shame because it's quite a fun program, at least in certain parts.

Pang/Tong clean but not at their peak as far as element execution is concerned. Still, given their perma-injury problems, that was very impressive.
