Vincent Zhou, practicing Muse free skate. Starts with a quad-triple combo I believe? Then a quad (lutz? flip? toe?), then I believe a triple loop? And wow, he is just firing on all cylinders today. Misha Ge's choreography (and music choice, love Simulation Theory) is doing wonders for him too.

Vincent Zhou's set-ups truly confuse me though, and since set-ups are usually how I identify jumps... Was that a salchow? I'm not sure, but it happened!

So far it's a good practice and full run for Vincent, 2 quads landed with no problem. 3A and everything landed minus 1 popped jump. No combos but stamina wise he seems to have no problems.

Eric Sjoberg has something extremely special in my opinion. Another skater that is so soothing to watch. I really hope he lasts so I can see him develop. There is something that reminded me of Matt Savoie in his skating.

Interestingly enough, Jason did make 2 stops during his programs to think a bit. I hope there won't be a stamina issue. Most likely not since this is just his first practice and I'm assuming things here.

No program stops for Vincent.

I see skate order is up for the rhythm dance and I guess they're doing random draws? Because Hubbell/Donohue are in the first group, skating fourth

EDIT: I was wrong! ice coverage points out that Hubbell and Donohue are in fact starting the second group, and the draw isn't completely random. Still, here's the skate order.

I hope they do! It makes me so sad when I remember the year NBC cut to commercial during Manta/Johnson's free dance, and no one else's, and they tweeted about how disappointed they were that family and friends who couldn't be at the event didn't get to see them skate.
