Just now returned from grocery shopping as Cesanek/Yehorov take the ice.

Just in time for ice resurfacing. Funny story. The first time I went to see Gracie skate (Worlds 2016 - I don’t play when it comes to Gracie!) was my very first figure skating competition in person on any level. I saw the Zamboni, grabbed my sisters arm and said “Michelle - it’s a Zamboni!” and took a picture! LOL! I also bought entirely the wrong seats. All the way up at the very last row of the highest level. I actually got vertigo.

I won't lie, I have pictures of the zambonis from the last two events I saw live Along with the skaters! Two of my absolute favorite photos I've taken at practices, btw, are of Kaitlin and Jean-Luc.

I think new costumes for Madison Hubbell and Zach Donohue? Practicing their free dance, looking very good. Love that final lift!

Oooh, fun very glittery blue dress for Eva Pate! Pate/Bye practicing their rhythm dance, I believe. Looks like they're skipping practicing the Finn Step in their run-through.

That was a fun dress! And still is. Speaking of dresses, Ashley Cain Gribble sells at least some of her old ones on the Internet. If only I would fit.

Oh, most of mine are varying levels of blurry! Though I had a better (phone) camera at GPF 2018 than Skate America 2017, so the best ones there only look blurry when zoomed in. I do wish I'd been quicker on my feet in 2017 when the Shibutanis ended their practice early to sign autographs and take pictures with the fans at the boards for a little bit

Next practice group on the ice for Dance! It looks like Madison Chock has a new dress for the RD (unless of course it's a practice dress) white with fringe instead of hot pink. Also on the ice- Shilling/Petrov, Asher/O'Donnell and Green/Parsons.

Asher/O'Donnell now, practicing RD to A Chorus Line. Twizzles ok, practicing Finn Step now. I'm no tech specialist but those edges don't look very deep.

Madison Chock and Evan Bates, practicing RD to Too Darn Hot from Kiss Me Kate. Skipped the lift (?) going into the Finn Step with confidence and speed, less speed on the twizzles I think, but looking solid.

Caroline Green and Michael Parsons: practicing RD to Thoroughly Modern Millie. Had to make room for Asher/O'Donnell at one point, going into the Finn Step with excellent speed.

Ladies on the ice! Heidi Munger, Audrey Shin, Bradie Tennell, Violeta Ushakova, Starr Andrews and Gracie Gold! I'm eating a late lunch now but I'll see if I can get some notes in.

I learned that last year at Nationals. If you go down to the “skaters entrance” area you can call them over when they leave practice. I’ve not seen one refuse. There was a lady there with GREAT pictures she had taken of the skaters and they were signing. Also that is how I got to give Gracie her dozen roses and babble out something about how I loved her and she was everything. She said “thank you they’re beautiful” (not as beautiful as you girl) and put her hand out and said “Hi I’m Gracie.”

Heidi popped her first jump into a single, skating with a mask on. Oh man, I am not Jackie Wong-- think her second jump was a salchow combination (?) and this looks like her free she's practicing.
