2007 Skate Ameirca Event Schedule – Tentative and Subject to Change
Friday, Oct. 26
6:00 p.m. - Compulsory Dance
7:35 p.m. - Pairs Short Program
9:10 p.m. - Men's Short Program
Saturday, Oct. 27
2:00 p.m. - Original Dance
3:35 p.m. - Pairs Free Skate
6:00 p.m. - Ladies Short Program
7:40 p.m. - Men's Free Skate
Sunday, Oct. 28
1:00 p.m. - Free Dance
2:50 p.m. - Ladies Free Skate
6:30 p.m. - Exhibition
Given the above, and with 2 hours of LIVE skating on Sunday afternoon (and breakfast for some posters) Can anyone give an estimate of how much time will be alotted for TV? If we divide l hour each for Dance and Ladies and the times are continuous. We should have Dance from 2:00 to 3:00 and Ladies from 3:00 to 4:00. at least in that time span. How much of the skaters they can show, is up to the network given the blurbs, ads and K&C. There would be no time for Exhibitions.
Hopefully the top skaters and teams do well in the SP and Dance prelims so that we get la creme de la creme for TV.
Since I am not going to Reading (will go to Quebec City), I want to see the whole kit and kaboodle somewhere. It would be wonderful live but this is too limited and I hope that NetSkate will have it even if I have to renew my dues. Maybe USA Network will have some tapes of Friday and Saturday events.
