LIVE streaming of all athletes and performances from all six national figure skating block competitions of the 2024 Figure Skating Block Competition on FOD Premium!

All athletes and all performances of all six ‘2024 Figure Skating Block Competitions’, which will be held nationwide from 21 September, will be streamed LIVE on FOD Premium.

Figure Skating ‘Block Tournaments’ are qualifying competitions for the ‘All-Japan Championships’ in the Senior, Junior and Novice categories, held in six regions across the country: Tohoku/Hokkaido, Kanto, Tokyo, Chubu, Kinki, Chushikoku/Kyushu. The aim is to demonstrate on the rink the skills, expression and spirit that have been honed day in and day out in order to win a ticket to the ‘All-Japan Championships’.

A number of world-class athletes have entered the ‘Tokyo Championships’, which open on 21 September. Among them are Kao Miura, who finished eighth at last season's World Championships, Shun Sato, silver medallist at the Four Continents Championships, as well as Koshiro Shimada, Yuna Aoki, Wakaba Higuchi, Rion Sumiyoshi and Rinka Watanabe, all of whom will compete in the Grand Prix Series this season.

Mana Kawabe, a representative of the Beijing Olympics, is entered in the Chubu Championships, while Mone Chiba, second in last season's All-Japan Championships, Kazuki Tomono, a three-time World Championships participant, and 37-year-old veteran Nobunari Oda are also entered in the Kinki Championships.

The skaters are aiming for the stage to decide who will be the best in Japan. The All-Japan Novice Championships will be held in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, from 18 to 20 October, and the All-Japan Junior Championships in Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, from 15 to 17 November.

The All-Japan Championships, which will decide this year's Japanese No.1, will be held in Kadoma City, Osaka Prefecture, from 19 to 22 December.
