I couldn't find any thread that dealt with this and I didn't want to just have a thread for one skater but does anyone have any updates on the following:

1. Gabby and Guillaume - are they skating for the 2026 olympics?
2. Gracie Gold - what is she doing? Is she healed? Is she competing? Does she have to do sectionals and qualify for Nats?
3. How is Gabby Daleman doing? Is she retired? Is she skating and trying for worlds?
4. We know Kirsten Moore Towers just got married to Liam F. What is she doing now?
5. What is the status of Morgan Cipres?
6. Any update on the situation with Nik Sorensen?
7. Any update on the appeal in respect to the 2022 Olympic team results? I still can't get over Roman might get a medal whereas poor Keegan is left in the cold. Dang covid.
8. Any updates if the Russian skaters will be allowed to compete in 2026?
9. Who is left in Russian Ice Dance
10. Is Vincent Zhou coming back?

4. Kirsten Moore Towers is coaching pairs in BC, mainly at the Connaught Club in Richmond. Unless there's some reason for her to move elsewhere next season.

Interesting factoid: She's one day older than her new husband.

7) To the lastest news, the situation about Team event at the Olympics has been clasified. If my memories is good, all points earned by Valieva are removed. That mean USA are first, Japan second and Russia is now thrid. Team USA sould probably receive their gold medal in Paris 2024 Olympics.

8) It's a difficult situation, the IOC is OK to have russians athletes in the 2024 OG (so probably 2026 also). But some sports federations are not ok with that (Boxing and Athletics for exemple).
So if it's the same situation at the OG 2026, russians will probably allowed to compete in 2026 but they should have the authorization from the ISU for figure skating

1. There's no clear indication that coming back to competitive skating is something they want to do, so probably not. They seem happy enough skating in shows, being choreographers and doing whatever else they are doing.
2. Gracie got surgery in December, released her memoir Outofshapeworthlessloser in February and was just at the ISU Congress to talk about mental health and athlete safeguarding. I don't think she has talked about her further plans yet, but yes, if she were to continue she'd have to qualify via sectionals.
3. Gabby had surgery in November and has been back on the ice since February. She got back her 2A, 3T and 3S at the end of April.
4. Kirsten is coaching baby pairs and doing commentary at Canadian competitions. She's also a Safe Sport Ambassador for Skate Canada.
5. He's still living his life without a worry. France doesn't extradite citizens to other countries.
6. No updates. Just some more situations coming to light involving other figure skaters because victims are starting to gain the courage needed to speak up.
7. There was a CAS hearing on the 12th to deal with three of the four appeals. The last appeal (the Canadian one) is being dealt with separately. If CAS comes to a decision in the foreseeable future, the reallocation medal ceremony could take place on August 7th in Paris.
8. No actual update, just that some Russian skaters have been moved to the registered testing pool again (usually reserved for medalists at ISU championships). Might be a sign that they are preparing for a possible readmission, might also not be. The IOC is open to Russian athletes, as long as the individual skating organisations readmit them to international competitions.
9. Of the top teams pre-ban, only Stepanova/Bukin and Khudaiberdieva/Bazin. Stepanova gave birth in early 2023, and S/B returned to competition for the 2023/24. Lots of new, young teams though, both re-partnered split teams and teams moving up from Juniors.
10. Vincent is doing collegiate skating for now. From past interviews, I don't think he's likely to return before graduating (end of 2025?), but he's still in good shape, so he could if he wanted to.

5. What is the status of Morgan Cipres?
Morgan cannot set foot in the United States without getting arrested. He is currently living in France.

Two of the coaches changed rinks. The third got promoted within the rink (?????). The two that moved have become much better people; I think a lesson was learned.
