Must be the youngest competitors in the history of the sport! ;)
She did well to win that competition. She and Akatyeva were both outstanding.

The initial mistake coupled with the comic reply made me laugh!   :points:

Thank you! :thank:

Sofia has grown up very quickly. With the click of my mouse, she just aged 10 years.

I really like this girl. This new performance is so much better than the last. Really can't wait to see how she'll improve for the next competition. And the next one, and the next season...

She gives me the best kind of Gubanova vibes.

She's incredibly good.

Over 55 points. In 2015 younger age nationals, top3 in SP was:

1. Tarakanova 51.80
2. Trusova 49.37
3. Shcherbakova 46.52

Obviously, this is only the qualifiers and I assume the nationals will have more strict judging. But even so, it's very impressive. Samodelkina's of comparable age to all three of these in 2015.

She had a very unfortunate fall at the very beginning of her program but other than that she was great at the Inge Solar Memorial. Great job, especially considering that only a few days ago she competed at the Memorial Volkova.

Still no protocols, but I can't believe she didn't at least win the free. Hopefully this will prompt her to work harder and keep improving because I know she can :)
