I am watching Jr. SP on sports gold.

Anyone else watching?

Skyliners scored 81 and are currently leading.

I watched junior and novice. Very interesting. Surprised that Skyliners weren't more excited about their scores. I personally prefer starlights to teams elite but today I think teams elite had the better skate and should be in first (by a small margin). They were very sharp and clean. I don't expect the rankings to change in juniors very much. Although both skyliners and teams elite novice were great I think only skyliners could compete at the junior level because they had a more junior like and mature style while teams elite seemed like an amazing and clean novice team (which is what they are). What were your opinions?
(My one major complaint is I need teams elite not to have their arms at their shoulders in the no hold)

I am still amazed, as an old ice dance fan, at the Skyliners having synchronized twizzles in both directions. And synchronized spins!

There is no youtube video of them at US Nationals, but here is their SP from Mozart Cup, where they were second to a Russian team in sp, fs, and overall. Very respectable for a US team.

Senior was intense. Skyliners have really grown into a strong senior team even though they are the newest team in the division. I think if the short program showed anything it is that hayden really needs to watch out for sky in the next few years. Starlights junior long was incredibly touching but it was very clear in both programs why skyliners are the world silver medalist, heads and shoulders above the rest of the field in my opinion. Juvenile was surprisingly interesting with the scores being so tight and so many great teams. I also really enjoyed hayden intermediate (ice mates?). At the moment I think the top overall organizations in the country are (in this order) skyliners, teams elite and hayden tied (bc all of elite's teams are strong but they don't have a senior or a world qualifying team like hayden), and then starlights.
