Did not know where else to post this... Jordan Cowan of On Ice Perspectives seems to be really getting into videoing Synchro Teams and the result is exciting and refreshing... and great fun to watch!!
He said he is still working out the technicalities of such difficult shooting but what I have seen on Instagram is wonderful. .. the groups appear to be all ladies at first glance but there are guys in the mix here and there too.. great!! I have taken the liberty of posting a couple of videos here from Instagram... hope I am not stepping on anyone's toes in doing this but thought it should be mentioned, if only for the WOW!! factor... Second video is of the Haydenettes recent practice...

Always happy to see Jordan Cowan's videos posted in any thread, including this one. :)

(Jordan and On Ice Perspectives are the subject of a thread in The Edge, which I am mentioning just for future reference.

I also had a WOW reaction to Jordan's video of the Skyliners (at your first link).
The first time I saw it, I was compelled to immediately rewatch it several times in a row -- to marvel at both the skating and at Jordan's camerawork.
I have paid little attention to synchro in the past, but Jordan's video totally grabbed my attention. :hap85:

Thanks Icecoverage for the heads up on OIP thread in the "Edge"; I knew it existed somewhere, looked for it in the "Edge" but not thoroughly enough.. Jordan's videos are wonderful, especially for that "On Ice Perspective" that Jordan does SO well, brings the action up close and personal, very different from the standard birds eye view one gets in an arena seat... His work with singles skaters is legendary, of course; the recent work with ice dance teams has given me new appreciation of the intricacies of the sport. I hope his videos will become popular mainstream viewing in every social media venue which would hopefully ignite new interest and help popularize figure skating in the US a bit more... one of his goals, I am sure.

A newly posted example of Jordan's incredible synchro camerawork, this time showing Les Supremes Senior.

Jordan shot with them in September.

:agree: Agree almost entirely.
(Except that I'm pretty sure that Jordan's [legendary] work with ice dancers goes back to the beginnings of OIP.)
