Julia Lipnitskaia (Russian: Ю́лия Липни́цкая) is a Ladies Singles figure skater who used to represent Russia. She was born on Jun 5, 1998, in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

Another variation of the spelling in the Roman alphabet is "Yulia Lipnitskaya", which is the most used one outside of ISU.

though I didn't get the many empresses ?
she is still a princess as she is young
sure Tutberidze has other students like Medvedeva and Julia lee

Julia is quite wonderful indeed. :) I saw her at the Finlandia Trophy and although I'm Finnish and therefore rooting for Kiira Korpi, I was very happy to see Julia win the event.

I really hope she can maintain her flexibility and technical skills through puberty and after that improve her presentation and interpretation of music. She's so serious on ice, I've only seen her smile after some succesful programs but never DURING the programs, which is almost heartbreaking. I would very much like to see her actually enjoy skating and performing and not just chase the perfect execution of technical elements. If she gets that part right, there's no stopping her. :agree:
