And here is something with special dedication to DizzyFrenchie as she's known to love ballet. :)
Here's from Shoko Nakamura, a renown Japanese prima ballerina, who mentioned Yuzuru during her recent interview for the current issue of Dance Magazine. While reflecting on differences between ballet and figure skating, she herself brought up Yuzuru Hanyu as the skater who clearly studied ballet and learnt some tricks there which she can notice with her experienced eye for dancing and ear for music :)

-When you watch figure skating performances, do you notice any differences between them and ballet?

From our perspective as people who pursue dance to its fullest by pursuing the lines of the body more, I sometimes think that it would be even more beautiful, but when you think about the speed of the movements on the ice, it may not be so easy. In ballet, I think that the connection between positions is more important than the static positions. However, in figure skating, it is inevitable. There must be a lot of preparation for the next technique. But still, when I watch Yuzuru Hanyu, I can see his strong attention to detail in the transitions. The atmosphere he exudes before and after a spin is unique, and it comes from the way he uses his body. He also uses ballet in his coordination of sound and body. There are moments when I think he is conscious of it, and I am sure he must have watched and studied ballet quite a bit.

I love it how Yuzuru's spectacular musicality is praised by experts in the field, especially so many accomplished ballet dancers, whose names and credentials are out there in the open for anyone to check and see.

There's a Japanese ballet dancer who did video reactions to Yuzuru's competitive programs, and he loved Yuzu's musicality and lines and sheer brilliance.

And this is something, a map for fans being worked up so they can find the best places to buy tax-free ot other goods that Yuzu's sponsors etc offer.

I think that there are several Japanese ballet dancers who reacted to Yuzuru Hanyu's skates on Youtube?

In these shops, tax-free means that customers in visit in Japan don't pay the Japanese VAT, but once at the customs, they pay their destination country's taxes?

Yes, whole teams of them, plus there is a lecture by a ballet professor, a former prima ballerina, on Yuzuru's musicality and dancing skills, somewhere on YouTube. Pretty popular among this target group our dear Yuzu is. Shoko Nakamura surely is not the only one.:)

I'm not sure if you have noticed in the current news abundance, but Yuzu opened an Instagram account for Echoes of Life and asked us to follow it :)
Seems like his introvert self feels more and more at home on SNS, wow! Does he possibly plan to post.... photos there?

Here's the account

... and his double announcement on two X accounts

Live Viewing has announced it will hold live broadcast in cinemas in Japan, Taiwan and Hongkong while TV Asahi Channel 1 will broadcast Echoes of Live Day 1 and 2 from Saitama Super Arena. No news on international livestream yet but I'm staying hopeful as Live Viewing was used for both (cinemas and international livestreaming) for GIFT. So far the international livestream would always be announced as the last one, after the others, so it seems we are following the known routine here. I would be very surprised if Yuzu left the international crowd out in the cold for this one. So let's stay patient, hopeful, calm and trusting!:pray::pray::pray:

Oh yes! Now I'm also expecting some international streaming of Day One (Yuzuru Hanyu's 30th birthday), whereas previously I was a bit afraid that another day would be chosen for the first international streaming of Echoes of Life.

While "mere mortals" are hoping for an international live streaming of as many shows of Echoes of Life as possible (particularly the birthday/first one), some have won (or will win, there are still a few tickets to be released, particularly the partial view ones) at the ticket lottery the right of buying tickets for Echoes of Life in Saitama. This restaurant, who writes that they are at only five minutes from the venue, has a service of lockers at a moderate fee (including the use of restrooms, quite a plus), a service of personalised nail printing with an assistance option (one creates a picture on their application, and their device prints the nails when the customer visits their premises) or more classically room rental:

Given the low number of lockers they have, their advice of reservation (with a discount) seems quite sound.

Wow, I just saw these two pics put side by side! Difficult to believe he is an athlete, a two time Olympic Champion, and not an actor or a professional model! Amazing photographs, so full of expression! Kudos to Yuzu and Mika, they do such a great job together!

He is an unusually beautiful human being. Thing is, he is also a wonderful person, the sort the world is a better place for, and GOAT. How many can say this?

I am thrilled for the people in Asia who can go to the live viewings (probably another record he holds, of the most cinemas for a figure skater) and crossing all my fingers for an international livestream, especially for the birthday but any day...

Has the initial number of cinemas been released? I say initial, but now I think that they're starting to have a better visibility on the probable attendance in each movie theatre.

In order to clarify that Yuzuru Hanyu did say it, here's an automated translation of a part of the interview he gave to GI:
"When we think about so-called techniques, our thoughts are always drawn to jumping, but techniques other than jumping are also very important. It can even be said that if the techniques other than jumping are not good, many places will look bad. In this sense, it is far from enough to just say "I completed the jump anyway."
Perhaps some judges ought to be informed?

Speaking of judges, the technical panel for the Single skaters at the NHK Trophy was what is usually called "strict", that is, they called most errors, which should be the standard. With ONE notable exception, in Men, whose errors were "forgotten", and the judges followed the Technical Panel to give him undeserved high scores...

Yes, Yuzuru was (and still is) a great jumper and his jumps were (and still are) a thing of beauty but never ever he would limit his program to a jumping contest, or rely on jumps only to the detriment of other elements. One of many reasons he's the legend he is!
